Meeting was opened with Pledge Of Allegiance and Dave Hanson said a prayer. The finance committee recommended $250.00 for each of our local candidats. Motion was 1st and 2nd approved and carried. Candidates will be expected to work hard at door knocking. Fair Committee person, Neil Schwake informed us that he will be setting up the Fayette Co fair booth at 5:30 pm on Monday, July 21st. A sheet was sent around to sign for working in booth from July 22nd thru July 26th. We can use extra help if anyone is interested, call Neil Schwake, Fayette, IA. Candidates spoke about their concerns and discussed parades past and future. This has been an experience for them, but they also are enjoying walking the parade routes and meeting many people.
Delegates were reminded of the State Convention this weekend, July 11th and 12th.
Need to think of a fund raiser August or September. Tabled until our next meeting. Meeting adjourned at 8:40 pm. Irene D. Iben, Chairman
